Our busiest days are Mondays and Fridays therefore mid-week gives the best chance of making a booking especially if it is late notice.
Removal costs can vary considerably. Local removals are predominately based on how long we estimate the removal will take. This takes in loading, unloading and travel time. We can provide a fixed quote for a local removal service or give an hourly rate for the truck and how many removalists will be required. Interstate removals are mainly volume based. Once we have determined how much room your goods will take up, we then calculate a removal cost taking into consideration, distance, locations, access to residences etc.
This depends on a variety of factors. For example a 3 to 4 bedroom house load being moved locally (within 25km) the removal will usually take around 6-8 hours. Poor accesses will increase this time.
Local removals generally take place all in one day. When there is considerable travel time involved, excessive volumes of goods and/or poor access to properties, removals can be conducted over 2-3 days. Interstate removals generally have a minimum of 3-4 days between uplift and delivery, but we allow a time frame of 5-7 days for long distance removals. Our service is tailored to meet your requirements and we do what we realistically can to meet those needs.
